Focus Fusion will enable a global transformation by freeing up trillions of dollar per year now spent on expensive energy. A major part of those vast new funds can be spent on government programs to build schools, hospitals, housing, and infrastructure—such as clean water supplies, and mass transit systems. Such programs will create over 100 million jobs world wide.   For example, here are some ideas for mass transit, including using mag-lev trains in evacuated tubes that could get people anywhere in the world in two or three hours. A global system of mag-lev tubes might cost one or two trillion dollars over a ten-year period.
