LPP’s new website goes live—appeals to broader audienceApril 9, 2014
LPPFusion’s new website has gone live. The new website is aimed at accomplishing two goals. First, it appeals to a much broader audience than our old website. The new site, with an array of eight prominent buttons, shows clearly with all new pages that our Focus Fusion research project has huge implications for the environment, economy and society, and peace. We have also included relevant news for each of these topics, accessible from the main news page where each category is displayed. There are also new sections devoted to explaining the basic physics concepts that underlie the research, and how it is connected with research in astrophysics and cosmology, with links to more-in-depth information on the Web. In addition to reporting on Focus Fusion research, we cover as well related research on the plasma focus device (DPF) and aneutronic fusion.
The second goal of the new website is to make information much easier to find. All previous news posts are grouped by topic and all our best images, videos and presentations are well-organized.
We expect that Focus Fusion Society website will also have a new look, at least on the home page, very soon.
We will continue to work on final touches and upgrades to both content and design as we move forward. For now we are very happy with a vast upgrade in topics, content and functions we now have compared to our old site. We welcome suggestions for more content on any topic. Most of all, please let everyone know about our new website.
